Day 1: Arrival in Katra & Vaishno Devi Darshan

Arrive at Jammu Railway Station / Airport and transfer to Katra (approx. 1.5-hour drive).
Check in to the hotel and freshen up.
Begin the Vaishno Devi Yatra (13 km trek) to the holy shrine. You can trek, hire a pony, take a palki, or opt for a helicopter ride (if booked in advance).
Visit Ardhkuwari Cave on the way.
Seek blessings at Vaishno Devi Temple and Bhairon Temple (optional).
Return to Katra and rest.
Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2: Leisure Day / Visit Nearby Attractions

After breakfast, relax at the hotel or explore local attractions:

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.

We always stay at here when in town. The location is great, staff is wonderful and we love the overall feel. Beautiful view from the here.
